It is time to order your Easter flowers, and there isn’t much time! We will have both tulips and hyacinth available for purchase this year. As always, the flowers will decorate the sanctuary during both services on Easter Sunday, and will then be available to be taken home after the second service. Both the tulips and the hyacinth will cost $8, and will need to be ordered by Thursday, March 19th. Checks can be made out to the church with “Easter Flowers” included in the memo line. Order forms can be found in the narthex, and attached to the weekly email.
We will celebrate our annual Easter Eggstravaganza the Sunday AFTER Easter, April 12th. We will gather for a pot luck lunch after the SINGLE 10A service, have lots of crafts and games, and host our annual egg hunt! All ages welcome! We look forward to seeing you there!
Our seniors will host a lunch at Earth, Wood & Fire in Fallston on Tuesday, April14th at 12:00PM. If you need directions, please contact Ellen Priebe at 410-679-8655. Please sign-up at church (the sign-up form is located on the bulletin board just past the nursery room) if you would like to attend so we can make sure there is room for everyone! You can also call the church office at 443-299-6134 and ask to be added to the list.
We will enter into Holy Week on Sunday, March 29th with a 10A combined Palm Sunday service. The theme of this service will be “The Whole Congregation Laments”. On Thursday, April 2 we will celebrate Maundy, or Holy, Thursday. Join us on Friday, April 3 for Holy Communion’s Tenebrae service at 7P. This moving service tells of the passion story, and has become a very special part of the worship experience at HCLC. This service will be crowded, even for a Friday evening. Please plan to arrive early. On Sunday, April 5 join us at 8:30A and 10:30A to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We have exciting news for you! After a lot of hard work by many people we have a new way to safely give online from your phone! Simply use the QR code on the above flier to access our PayPal account! Once there, you simply enter your donation amount and click submit. It is really that simple...no need to carry cash or write out checks (although, we are still more than happy to accept those, as well )! There will also be fliers around the church you can scan, as well! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime!
We have a thriving music ministry here at Holy Communion, and we would love to have you join us! We have a choir that sings at our 8:30A traditional service, a Praise Band that sings at our 10:30A contemporary service, and two bell ensemble that play at both services.
