Time to put on your “running” shoes and plan to join us for our fourth annual Bacon .005K (don’t worry, it is really only about 16 feet) on Saturday, June 6th at 9:30A! For a $25 donation ($15 for ages 2-10, under 2 are free) you get access to the race, a race tee shirt, and a pancake and (of course) bacon breakfast! And, even better than a fun day and cool shirt, you will also be supporting Holy Communion and helping us continue to reach out to share Christ’s love! Registration forms can be found attached to this email, as well as in the church Narthex. All registrations must be received by the church office no later than Wednesday, May 27th to ensure you receive a tee shirt. Mark your calendars now for a fun time!
As we move closer to the arrival of summer, we are also looking forward to returning to a single service, and the chance to reconnect with others who may worship during a different service throughout the year. Our single summer services will begin Sunday, May 31st, and go through Sunday, September 13th. Summer service will be held at 9:30A. So, scootch over and make room. And get ready to re-connect this summer!
Our seniors will host a lunch at Silver Spring Mining Company in Bel Air on Tuesday, May 12th at 12:00PM. If you need directions, please contact Ellen Priebe at 410-679-8655. Please sign-up at church (the sign-up form is located on the bulletin board just past the nursery room) if you would like to attend so we can make sure there is room for everyone! You can also call the church office at 443-299-6134 and ask to be added to the list.
We have exciting news for you! After a lot of hard work by many people we have a new way to safely give online from your phone! Simply use the QR code on the above flier to access our PayPal account! Once there, you simply enter your donation amount and click submit. It is really that simple...no need to carry cash or write out checks (although, we are still more than happy to accept those, as well )! There will also be fliers around the church you can scan, as well! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime!
We have a thriving music ministry here at Holy Communion, and we would love to have you join us! We have a choir that sings at our 8:30A traditional service, a Praise Band that sings at our 10:30A contemporary service, and two bell ensemble that play at both services.
